In 2004 I had the opportunity to create tutus for Snow scene, Nutcracker. That experience reminded me how much I enjoy playing with fabric, color, texture, and allowed me to revisit another of my interests. I have since been hired to create costumes for NBDT, New Jersey Youth Ballet, Verne Fowler School, and private clients attending competitions. Marrying the opportunity to bring a vision to the stage for my clients with my love of dance is a creative process I thoroughly enjoy. My eye for detail is attentive to color, line, and grace while my experience on the stage brings my focus to fit, comfort, and ease of movement for the dancer. Coming from a line of seamstresses and dressmakers, I find it essential to work closely with clients to ensure the final product is what they envision.
